Run and organised by the Swiss PASS Chapter, we’re aiming to provide rich educational content to members of the Swiss Technical Community.
The event  is running for the first time in Zurich on the 19th of September 2009 and covers 3 core tracks: Database Administration, Application Development and Business Intelligence, in both German and English languages.
SQL Server experts and trainers are coming from all around Switzerland and Europe to present topics that will enable to attendees to leverage their current skills and enhance their current database or BI implementations and applications.
We’ve catered for 100 – 120 attendees this time around, and this is also a great opportunity to meet fellow professionals and experts, with the same focusses and interests.

Database Administration
The database administration track binds together several perspectives that are integral to a DBA. from performance tuning to scripting and backup/recovery, sessions delivered in this track with be of immediate benefit to you the morning you return to the office.

Gill Cleeren of Ordina Belgium – Microsoft ASP.NET MVP and Regional Director

Gill Cleeren is a .NET architect at Ordina. He is the Microsoft Regional Director for the Benelux and since 2008 also MVP (Most Valuable Professional) ASP.NET. Gill’s focus is on research of brand-new technologies and trends, with a predilection for UI-related technologies like ASP.NET, Ajax, Silverlight and WPF. In his role as Regional Director, Gill has given many sessions, webcasts and trainings on new as well as existing technologies. He also leads the largest .NET user group in Belgium.

The Swiss PASS Chapter is a Not-For-Profit Organisation focussed solely on Technical Communities with an emphasis on Database Technologies.

SQL Server Saturday is free to attendees due to the generosity of our sponsors. Money raised for the event covers costs only.

Participants also benefit from becoming Swiss PASS Chapter members with access to all member only discounts and materials and meetings.

Cancellations:
Attendance is free, but no shows cost us money too…

If registered participant do not attend the event, we reserver the right to charge a nominal fee of CHF100.- to cover some of the assiocated organisational expenses.
